Chair feet protectors eliminate the sounds of scraping and screeching made by chairs on hard floors. Silent Socks chair feet protectors are placed on the bottom of chair legs and aim to reduce the noise in a room by 18dB. Ideal for schools, offices, auditoriums, hospitals and more.

Chair feet protectors are ideal for environments with hard floors and multiple seats such as schools, auditoriums, reception areas, and more. Silent Socks reduce noise within the room by 18dB by eliminating the sounds of chairs scraping across the floor. Standard Silent Socks were the first sock created and are best used on smooth floor toppings.

As well as reducing sound, chair feet protectors help prevent floors from being scratched or damaged from moving furniture. These chair feet protectors have been tested in Sweden both by the SP Technical Research Institute and at a lab in Akustikverkstan.

Silent socks chair feet protectors are machine washable and easy to fit with no tools required.

  • Not recommended to be used on oiled floors, or floors treated with WearMax™, since this type of surface treatment makes the life span of the product considerably shorter.
  • Silent Socks is also not recommended to be used on chair legs with “spherical” chair endings. This is because this type of chair creates a high pressure on a very small point and therefore increases the wear.
  • Silent Socks should not be used on textile carpets as this creates high friction and wear on the product. Also, their acoustic and floor saving characteristics are lost when used on textile.
