Offecct Acoustic Hanging Soundsticks (Sold in Packs)

Soundsticks consists of textile scraps from upholstery production which have been moulded into the shape of a tube that is held together in the ends by recycled aluminium caps. These textile “sticks” hang from rails in linear or radial shapes that can be combined depending on need and space.

Making a commercial product with left over materials, is easy to say but hard to do. But after deep discussions and elaborate workshops with Andrea Ruggiero, a design and a method was developed that not only ensured a sustainable product, but also a product that could add something new and relevant to the acoustic segment. Soundsticks consists of textile scraps from upholstery production which have been moulded into the shape of a tube that is held together in the ends by recycled aluminium caps. These textile “sticks” hang from rails in linear or radial shapes that can be combined depending on need and space.

Fixings included.

Sound absorbing core of recycled moulded left over fabric and PET bottles. Upholsterd in blue, grey, green alt. red scale of mixed excess fabric. Supplied in a pack of 8 Soundsticks® .

The Rail & Ceiling Kit includes:

Rail: lacquered metal, RAL 9016. Straight, 1500 mm. Incl. splicing elements, end plugs and panel wires.
Ceiling mounts: 4 x wires, 4 x wire locks, 4 x grippers and 2 x end stops.
